Dancing in the Rain

“Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.” - Vivian Greene

Beloved team members gifted me wooden wall decor with the above quote almost a decade ago. Since no author was with the quote, I researched who first wrote it. These days I find myself thinking more about what will become of original content. I've also been thinking about the importance of creating joyful moments amidst so much pain and chaos.

As a kid, I used to belt out my favorite songs when I couldn't find the words to express what I was feeling. Door closed and volume up, I'd lean into the lyrics as they provided words I couldn't find on my own.

Apartment living isn't as conducive to singing my heart out loudly, so I've found other ways to "dance in the rain." I literally DANCE! Airpods in, door closed, I create my own solo dance party.

How are you finding joyful moments these days? Dance parties? Singing in the shower? Watching your dog play in the snow?

Wishing you joy!
